After an absence of two, Covid pandemic-induced years, Salon International is set to make a triumphant return to Gallagher Convention Centre, on 28 and 29 August.
Running alongside the Professional Beauty Expo, Salon International will serve as a prime showcase for leading hair brands, many of which will be offering show specials to registered visitors.
Local and international brands will be housed under one roof – from hair care to advanced treatments to specialist equipment to new techniques and products.
Salon International is positioned as the ultimate hair industry event – celebrating diversity and inspiring today’s hairdressers. Visitors to the show will be able to evaluate competing solutions across every product category and discover new, more cost-effective solutions to existing processes. They will be able to test drive the latest products, experience live demonstrations and stay up-to-date with emerging or changing trends.
There will be a Live Stage with exciting presentations and showcases. Among those confirmed to present are Thomas Tsheola, winner of the Salon International 2020 award for Afro Hairdresser of the Year, and well-known stylist, King Nkosi. There will also be a presentation by Wahl.
Blue Sky International will be showcasing the all-new hair brand, Strong & Beautiful.
Visitors to the show might also be interested in the series of Professional Beauty seminars at the same venue. Topics to be covered include: Unstoppable Social Media & Authentic Influencer Strategies; The Quest for Excellence – exploring practical steps for achieving excellence and real results; The Adventure of Being You in Business; How companies prove the product claims that they make; Essential Social Media Tips and Tricks; and The Business of Branding.
Mindset advocate and transformation coach, Puseletso Modimogale, will reveal how to become aware of what it is that you really wish to achieve and the importance of anyalysing your goals before you are able to achieve them, while business consultant, Brian Adams, will focus on business management and personal motivation for company owners.
