The doors may have closed on Professional Beauty & Salon International 2026, but the conversations, connections and opportunities created at this year’s show are only just beginning.

Held on 6–7 September at The Galleria in Sandton, Johannesburg, the expo brought together beauty professionals, salon owners, spa teams, aesthetic practitioners, nail technicians, educators, suppliers and leading international and local brands for two days of discovery, networking and business.

For exhibitors, the show was an opportunity to do more than display products. It was a chance to launch new innovations, reconnect with loyal customers, meet potential clients and build relationships with the people shaping the future of the professional beauty industry.

And the feedback from exhibitors speaks for itself.

Launching What’s Next

For DECODED®, represented by Prestige Skin SA, Professional Beauty 2026 provided the perfect platform to introduce its new REGENERATE Formula range to the professional market.

“Professional Beauty 2026 was an incredible experience for DECODED® – the energy, connections and enthusiasm around the launch of our new REGENERATE Formula range made it a truly unforgettable weekend.”

The team highlighted the enthusiasm surrounding the launch and the value of being part of an event that brings the professional beauty community together.

“We loved being part of an event that brings the professional beauty industry together and celebrates what’s next!” Said Shane Franck of Prestige Skin.

Building Relationships That Last

For Rosiesst, Professional Beauty has become an important part of its growth strategy. After exhibiting at the Johannesburg show for two consecutive years, the brand has seen first-hand the value of connecting directly with the professional market.

Rosiesst General Manager Violet Mogotsi described the experience as phenomenal, highlighting the opportunity to showcase the brand, engage with customers and create meaningful business opportunities.

“The exhibition has provided us with an incredible platform to showcase our brand, connect with industry professionals, engage with customers, and create meaningful business opportunities.”

For Rosiesst, the relationship with Professional Beauty is one they hope to continue building.

“We look forward to building a long-term relationship and taking the Rosiesst brand to more of their exhibitions nationally.”

The industry needs to help grow this event   Thank you so much for your outstanding service and support during the Expo at The Galleria on 6 and 7 September 2026. Your professionalism and attention to detail made the two days an absolute pleasure for us, and we truly appreciate everything you and your team did behind the scenes to make it run so smoothly. It is a pity, though, that more suppliers from the Hair Industry didn't support the event this time around. Their presence would have generated even more interest and drawn a stronger turnout of hairstylists and salon owners. The Lessoan and Mood Matter Team.  Georg Marnewick and Marku Branders

Connections That Inspire

For Trinkets Supplies and NSI, the most valuable part of the show was the people.

Katia de Silva spoke about the opportunity to reconnect with familiar faces while also meeting new clients and business owners from across the industry.

“What I loved most about the show was the opportunity to reconnect with familiar faces, meet new clients and connect with so many inspiring business owners.”

That sense of community is at the heart of the Professional Beauty experience. In an industry driven by people, relationships and shared knowledge, being able to meet face-to-face remains incredibly valuable.

Katia also captured the energy that makes the event so special:

“There’s something incredibly energising about being surrounded by fellow professionals who share the same passion for our industry.”

For her, the show is about leaving with more than leads and sales. It is about leaving inspired.

“I always leave feeling inspired, motivated and excited about what’s ahead. It reminds me why I love being part of this industry.”

More Than an Exhibition

For RefectoCil South Africa, Professional Beauty is an important opportunity to strengthen relationships with existing customers while reaching new ones.

The team described the show as a valuable platform to reconnect, build relationships and extend the brand’s reach within the professional beauty industry.

“The Professional Beauty show is always a fantastic opportunity to reconnect with existing customers, build new relationships and meet potential customers. It allows us to strengthen our presence and extend our reach even further within the beauty industry.”

And this year brought an additional reason to celebrate.

At the Professional Beauty Industry Awards, RefectoCil South Africa was named Best Lash and Brow Product of the Year.

For Pieter and Sue Vermeer, the award made an already successful weekend even more memorable.

“The Gala Dinner Awards was a wonderful evening, and winning the Best Brow and Lash Product of the Year Award made it even more special.”

The recognition was a proud moment for the entire RefectoCil South Africa team and a reminder of the role that quality products and strong industry relationships play in the professional beauty market.

The Success Behind the Show

The success of Professional Beauty & Salon International 2026 cannot be measured by footfall alone.

It can be seen in the new relationships formed, existing partnerships strengthened, products launched, businesses discovered and ideas exchanged throughout the two-day event.

From established brands returning year after year to exhibitors using the show to launch their latest innovations, the response demonstrates the continued importance of bringing the professional beauty community together under one roof.

Professional Beauty & Salon International is more than an exhibition. It is where the industry connects, discovers, learns, does business and looks towards what comes next.

A huge thank you to all our exhibitors, visitors, speakers, educators and industry partners who made Professional Beauty & Salon International 2026 such a success.

We’ll see you at the next one.
