Star of the ‘Barbie’ movie, Margot Robbie, looked uber-glam at the World Premiere in Los Angeles in a very high ponytail, with a 1940s-style flick on the one side of the head, all in a less-than-Barbie-esque shade of dark blonde.
Also going the high ponytail route was Issa Rae, who plays President Barbie in the film, with a super elegant, sleek version that was completed by a soft wave gelled onto the head and tucked neatly into said ponytail.
‘Bridgerton’ actress Nicola Coughlan, who is one of many stars in the ‘Barbie’ movie, rocked long Titian-toned hair to the recent London premiere. This shade was far more muted than the cherry cola shade she wears in the film.
Coughlan’s long tresses were becomingly arranged in gentle waves down one side, with the other tucked behind the ear.
Colombian singer Karol G went pink all the way at the World Premiere, from long mermaid-core type tresses to her two-piece outfit.
Actress and singer Alexandra Shipp was all about the messy updo – her’s was a two-toned version, with her ombre hair resulting a dark crown leading into a barely constrained chestnut-hued bun, with long strands framing her face.
British-French actress, Emma Mackey, who plays yet another one of the many Barbies in the film, was the epitome of long, loose, tousled brunette hair.
And of course, mention must be made of Nicki Minaj’s Lady Godiva-length super-smooth platinum wig – the tresses literally skimmed the rapper’s calves.
