Perhaps the most stand-out (literally!) hairdo on the recent Brit Awards red carpet in London was Dua Lipa’s beehive. Not only was this retro look reminiscent of the late, great Amy Winehouse, it was also a really atypical look for a star who usually favours edgy bob derivatives.
The multiple Brit Award-winning Lipa’s bouffant hairdo, which looked like it was teetering precariously on the top of her head, was enhanced by a chin-length parted fringe.
British-Swiss singer/ songwriter RAYE also went hugely retro, channeling Marilyn Monroe in her satin gown and the 1940s style of her black bob.
Celeste’s centre-parted Afro was adorned by a white feathery confection, while the Haim sisters sported their usual, super-casual, slightly waved long locks, tucked behind one ear.
Radio and TV presenter, Clara Amfo, had long, twisted, colour graduated braids cascading down each side of her face, with a top knot at the crown of her head. Fellow radio DJ, Yasmin Evans, sported flattering, shoulder-length tight waves, which flowed out of an intricately styled, deep side-parting.
American actress and singer, Olivia Rodrigo’s very long, wavy mahogany tresses framed her face, while TV presenter, Maya Jama, opted to have her shiny black locks ultra sleek and straight.
British singer, songwriter and poet, Arlo Parks, proudly rocked super short natural hair in a dazzling copper hue. (Report by Joanna Sterkowicz)
