To celebrate Professional Beauty’s 15th birthday, Salon International Africa is offering visitors to its expo on 1 & 2 September at Gallagher Convention Centre in Midrand, free entrance into the business seminars.
Topics at the seminars are focused on aspects that relate directly to the successful running of a salon. They include: The Business of Branding; Managing your team; Establish your business strategy; Social Media; Maximise staff productivity; Effectively reaching the men’s market; and Human Resource issues/law.
These seminars will take place in the Professional Beauty Hall (Hall 5), which is adjacent to the Salon International Africa Hall (Hall 4).
Professional Beauty is also giving back to the industry through another initiative – Beauty Week – which takes place from 7 to 14 October. This is a national marketing initiative to help salons attract new business and increase profits.
Says Phil Woods, commercial director of Professional Beauty: “We believe this is a much needed initiative to support the industry and consumers in this current economic downturn and we encourage all hair and beauty salons to participate. Times are tough and we are all looking for new business and to retain our existing client base.
“Professional Beauty is committed to actively marketing and promoting Beauty Week through online paid campaigns and public relations, a dedicated directory of participating salons and free marketing material for your salon.”
Hair and beauty salons are encouraged to list their business for free at www.beautyhub.net. Register your business details on the hub and confirm that you are willing to offer the public a 2 for 1 special offer – ‘Bring a friend and receive your treatment free’.
This special offer only applies to bookings made during Beauty Week 7-14 October 2019.
Pick up your free promotional poster at the Beauty Week stand at the Professional Beauty Johannesburg Expo on 1 & 2 September 2019
