In August last year, local haircare giant Sta- Sof- Fro embarked on the ‘It’s On Us’ initiative to offer debt relief to ladies affected by the COVID-19 pandemic.

Over three months, Sta- Sof- Fro offered a month’s worth of debt relief to women and girls in need, with a simple requirement, that they share their story and how they have been negatively impacted by the pandemic. Having done this, they could qualify to receive a month’s worth of relief in the area of Student Loans, Bonds/ Rent or Car installment loans.

After an influx of entries from all over South Africa, the winners have finally been announced. They are:

Says Sta- Sof- Fro brand manager, Lerato Tikwayo: “It was quite a process to select our winners when there were so many stories pouring in. With the help of my judging panel, we were able to identify the ladies who really stood out.

“Knowing the devastation that debt can impose on a young person's life, we were committed to providing not only the cash relief, but also free tools online to help people better manage, understand and grow their finances and we are honoured to have been able to do so.”
