There were lots of TV and movie stars with fabulously coifed hair evident at the 2021 Golden Globe Awards, which were presented virtually by the Hollywood Foreign Press Association on 28 February.

Modern Family actress, Sarah Hyland, debuted fabulous coppery tones in her long, gently waved her. Hyland even had a red dress to match her locks!

Laverne Cox sported a very unusual and retro look; her usually long and flowing blonde hair was woven into milkmaid-style braids, worn in a bob length on either side of her face.

Singer and actress, Andra Day, looked especially glam in her very high, curly, auburn-tipped updo, while the ever-green Angela Basset wore an intriguing hip-length braid, which had a smaller braid plaited into it.

Proudly rocking grey hair was perennial Hollywood icon, Jane Fonda, whose normally blonde hair was flicked back into a flattering short style. It’s hard to believe that the woman is 83 years old!

Channeling 1940s old style Hollywood Glam was Amanda Seyfried. Her long, side-parted locks were very reminiscent of Veronica Lake from the classic era of Hollywood. Sporting a similar look, although much longer and less wavy, was The Queen’s Gambit star, Anya Taylor-Joy, whose blonde tresses skimmed her ribcage.

Golden Globe winner, Emma Corrin, who played Princess Diana in The Crown, had her deep side-parted, short bob brushed back on either side and tucked behind the ears.

This look was paired with a bizarre pierrot outfit, complete with huge white ruffle.

Nicola Coughlan, one of the stars of Bridgerton, wore a short blonde bob that was studiously tousled and had three green slides on one side.

Emily in Paris star, Lilly Collins, had her just-below-the-shoulder dark hair in lovely, very curly waves, coming from a side parting and tucked behind one ear. (Report by Joanna Sterkowicz)
