Honoree and legendary songstress, Christina Aguilera slayed the GLAAD Media Awards red carpet in Los Angeles recently with waist-length platinum blonde extensions clipped high behind one ear.
The GLAAD Media Award is an accolade bestowed by GLAAD (Gay & Lesbian Alliance Against Defamation) to recognise and honor various branches of the media for their outstanding representations of the LGBT community and the issues that affect their lives.
One of the more striking looks of the night was seen on actor Jeremy Pope, whose copper-streaked, bob-length dreadlocks were half swept into an updo, with the remainder flopping over one eye.
A very pretty and flattering style was seen on Jamie Clayton. It comprised of a cacophony of sculpted, cascading waves that were fastened on one side by a huge butterfly-like bow made from the same fabric as her dress.
Actress Lisa Ann Walter opted to wear her trademark long auburn hair in a very glamourous updo, with a long fringe in an extreme side-parting.
‘Cruel Intentions’ star, Sarah Michelle Gellar, wore her blonde locks in a blunt cut long bob that was parted in the centre and tucked behind the ears for a somewhat severe look. Talking of severe, fellow actress Raven-Symoné rocked a silver buzz cut.
Former Miss America and established actress, Vanessa Williams, wore her caramel blonde hair in an updo with a side-swept fringe, while Sinitta went the casual route. The British singer’s beyond-shoulder-length hair was styled into slightly messy tight waves. (Report by Natasha Chisese and Joanna Sterkowicz)
